True Patient Care
Christopher Margrave from San Francisco, CA - 12/08/2011 - 04:52 pm
It has been about 6 months since I joined SPARC and my original positive opinion hasn't changed. Their selection is amazing. The offer both indoor and outdoor selections at a variety of price ranges, a large selection of prerolls and concentrates, seeds, clones and edibles. I haven't found many unimpressive strains, though there have been a few that weren't quite what I needed. The staff is excellent at keeping up with the menu and helping me select what will work best. As I said, they rarely miss.
The other thing that has impressed me is their ongoing interactions with the patients. They work with ASA to advocate for statewide standards, offer a variety of free services to members and give all members a voice in how they will continue to build on these services. It didn't take very long for me to feel like a part of a safe, Patient based community.

the best in the biz

being an mmj patient in SF for over a year, i have explored many of the clubs and lounges available in our fair city, and none hold a candle to SPARC. the sense of community and care for the well-being of the patient is unparalleled- but that's getting ahead of myself. the employees are all very friendly and helpful, and know you by name. they learn to know what strains work for you and which do not, and their knowledge of each strain and its effects is simply astounding. the lounge itself is clean, hip, and relaxed, almost like an upscale sushi bar. for weed.
another awesome aspect of SPARC is that their selection is tiered to be affordable to everyone. You can spend the big money and get the rare or super-heady weed, or you can go for the lower-level medicines and still come away with nugs that blow away the stuff you find on the top shelf of many other dispensaries.
in addition to the medicine and lounge, SPARC also offers other patient services (all for free), such as legal counseling, Ayurvedic diet counseling, chair massage, mediation, acupuncture, ear-seed treatments, women's groups, and many others. suffice to say, SPARC is and should be the envy of every medical marijuana dispensary in the city.

I am so glad that I read this listing and found out through this place that people who need help with their medicine, get it. Big props to you all over there. What you are doing is really great!
