Peanut butter and chocolate is a classic combination. And the use of organic is encouraging. Its best to keep things au naturale. Another twist on this brownie might be to use a cream cheese filling instead of the peanut butter…Just blend well with a whisk: 4oz. of SOFTENED cream cheese with 2 tablespoons granulated cane sugar and 1 tablespoon unbleached flour. Then, whisk in 1 egg yolk and a ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract. Add this to the brownie mixture in place of the peanut butter filling, and bake according to the recipe above. Yay! Cream Cheese Brownie Medicine!
