Caprese Salad with Herb Oil
A classic made even better by the addition of ganja! This dup of herbs give the tomatoes and cheese a beautiful warm weather flavor. Enjoy alfresco with a glass of bubbly.
Makes 5 Doses
1 pound plum tomatoes, quartered lengthwise
1/4 cup master recipe ganja oil (made with extra-virgin olive oil and 1/8th oz. ganja)
1/4 cup basil leaves, chiffonade
1 pound cold salted fresh mozzarella, sliced 1/3 inch thick2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
Arrange mozzarella and tomatoes on plates and sprinkle with basil. Drizzle with vinegar and herb oil. Season with sea salt and black pepper.
