Banana Yogurt Hemp Bread

This recipe yields a choice loaf of double hemp infused goodness. Makes for a groovy snack with a cup of green tea or black coffee.


½ cup organic unsalted butter, melted

¾ cup minus 2 tb. organic sugar

2 organic eggs

1 tea. vanilla extract

1 ¼ cups organic barley flour

¼ cup hemp meal

1 tea. baking soda

½ tea. sea salt

½ cup whole milk yogurt

¼ cup chopped raw cashews

¼ cup hemp seeds, plus extra for sprinkling on top

2 medium bananas (1/2 banana cut into small cubes)


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan with butter. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Whisk in eggs and vanilla. In a medium bowl, combine flour, hemp meal, baking soda, and salt. Stir the flour mixture into the butter mixture until smooth. Fold in the yogurt, cashews, hemp seeds and bananas. Spread evenly into the prepared pan. Sprinkle top of loaf with hemp seeds. Bake at 350 for 1 hour, or until a knife inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
